Band Analysis

I have a rock band in mind which I would love to include in my magazine front cover and DPS. They're called "Mischief Managed" and are a new band and are local. They've had a few gigs in the past. The only trouble I have with this is that I'm a member! I'm not sure how I will get over this hurdle as later in the module I believe we have to interview them for the article and I have to be in the photo- maybe I could put the timer on?

An idea I have is that the guitarist will be on the front cover with her guitar jumping in mid-air and smashing the masthead or cover line of the magazine with the cover line saying "Mischief Managed Smashed It!" 

The DPS could be all the band being mischievous (with moustaches like above?) or messing around with the props in the studio. The DPS title could be "'Let's Get Up' to Mischief!" as "Let's Get Up" is a song of theirs.

I also had an idea to do "See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil" since there's 3 and it's unique and original. I wasn't sure how to link it with the band an article however.

 

Since I'm going to be doing a rock magazine, I'll make the band look more like a rock band clothes wise and make up and action wise - we look a bit too happy!

 

We will shoot in the photo studio in the college since it is local for everyone and easy to get to and book. I booked them in for a few days to get as many good pictures as I can. I told them to dress in the band clothes and look rocky with edgy hair, make up, etc.
